Natalie
is passionate about theatre and teaches to nurture and conjure up children's
confidence in their natural creative selves.
Natalie has studies theatre
and dramatic techniques for 10 years, completing courses at numerous reputable
drama schools including the Actor's College of Theatre & Television, The Method
Studio in London, Legs on the Wall, and most recently, Jacques Lecoq
International School of Theatre in Paris.
Natalie teaches at a number
of children's drama schools including Kidz on Stage and the Australian Theatre
for Young People, as well as giving private individual performance tuition.
Natalie's teaching
experience includes improvisational skills, monologue, duologue and group
performance (in preparation for Eisteddfods and local performances), script &
character analysis, acrobalance & movement, and techniques for children to
devise and create their own work. Natalie particularly enjoys devising
fun-filled holiday workshops, incorporating new physical skills and creative
drama games.
Accelerated learning, memory
techniques, personal learning styles and how the brain works are personal
interests of Natalie. She finds the power of creative and whole body learning
very exciting and she incorporatesthis knowledge into her teaching style and
class environment. Natalie believes that kindness, patience and a joy for
teaching make for the best teacher.
