The Sydney Teenage Actor’s Studio is a new and exciting training venue for teenagers who wish to enter the entertainment industry. Robert Carne, director of the Hunter’s Hill based studio, states his reason for opening a studio focusing on the 10 to 19yr age range.
“I love teaching this age group, between 10 to 19yrs we’re forming our adult barriers and really cementing our relationship with the world. Guiding young actors at this stage means that you can show them the processes as they are happening. The result is that students become very aware of who they are and how they interact in the world which is a huge plus for actors.”
The Sydney Teenage Actors Studio is dedicated to high quality tuition. Class sizes are kept small (max 12 students) in order to cater to the specific needs of the individual. Students will gain a solid theoretical foundation, a broad practical performance base and be a part of a community that is focused on getting work that’s there and creating work that’s not. |
